It's been a while since I last submitted something, and I wanted to draw a centaur, so...My 8-year old half-sister suggested a few names, and the one that stuck out best was Oliver, so the centaur's name is Oliver. This is some country in Europe, probably the UK or France, except I don't think it snows in England, so...
Hope y'all like it.

Practice makes perfect. XP I did, like, two or three practice sketches of horses before I drew this; I'm not good at horses.

they told me practice makes perfect, but then they told me nobody's perfect, so I stopped practicing.
Centaurs are cool. though, personally, I prefer Forest Sprites and elves.
Forest Sprites because in those Mythological pictures, they look either cool, or the females look attractive.
and how can there be an unattractive elf? have you ever seen a picture of an elf(that wasn't working with Santa) that wasn't extremely beautiful?
I swear, Elf guys are lucky....

Lolz, you don't sound nerdy. XP Though I swear elves are over-rated and are just Santa's cute little helpers.
Elf girls are fine and all, but I think if I got stuck with somebody I'd rather she be a mermaid or something like that. Just 'cuz it would be cool, unless she were a siren in which case I'd be screwed.
Considering how comics seldom have much to do with elves, though, I think you're safe.

yeah, that would be kinda cool, but ever consider that a relationship like that, between human and mermaid, could never go beyond kisses and some touching?

Sirens are beautiful maidens/mermaids whose song makes any man fall madly in love with them; the catch is that chasing after them brings men to their doom.

I read on Wikipedia that it may be that it isn't the Siren that kills the men, but the men refuse to leave once they hear the Siren sing, thus, they starve to death or something.
but that is only one of the things on them there, others discribe the Sirens as bird women, some as water people and the one I mentioned lived in the forests.
