I was alone in the dark

My heart was in pain
My soul was dark
I stood in the rain
My attitude worse than a shark

But then a light appeared
Shining on my skin
I looked up and heard
A voice say look within

I saw her face beautiful than a diamond
Her smile warm and soft
Her eyes dragging me out of the darkness
Her beauty bringing my soul aloft
