Description
*FULL VIEW PLEASE*This is a College project from last year.
We had to make a cardboard chair that could hold a 70kgs person on it.
We could not use glue or a staple gun, just cut and fold.
This is what I came up with.
Economy of resources and a confortable design.

Interesting concept
I am passing through the same project now and looking for inspiration so this work was nice to see (our professor expects 50 small scale models from us...)
I was already thinking of an X base, it seems pretty solid and supports the chair from all sides

Oh... Thank you!
If I can help try curves and S shapes as well as X shapes. Use the cardboard vertically for strength and horizontally for structure. Aim for a solid base and a light seat.
I hope I've helped! 's and Kisses!

Thanks, the S shape will be good too I think
Btw, did you have to go through 30+ models before deciding on the final too?

You're welcome. No... we weren't obligated to a specific number of prototypes. We did as much as we like, or needed to... and then edited from there.
I guess your teachers are more exigent then mine.
Good luck!

One of the most creative projects on class. Cheerful
I saw... I was there, and over a year as passed and the chair still stands (although is never used...unlike mine that my cat loves as her private sofa)
... Just a joke Humor
