This stuff is absolutely brilliant. I love this one best, as well as the Green eggs and ham is people poster. Wonderful satire.

I was shocked to realize how great a choice the art style of Dr. Seuss is for an adaptation of Lovecraft's stories. Certain imagery that was used to create unease and fear in Lovecraft's work could just as easily be seen the books of Dr. Seuss to create whimsy.

Yes. Furthermore, I suspect the switch would work either way. Lovecraft writing up one of Seuss's stories would have bred generations of nightmares, I'm certain.

Oh my goodness. This is probably one of the most amazing things that I've ever seen. My husband just read through this then had me log onto my DA account just so I could see what he was raving about. Wow, it was truly amazing, and such an entertaining way to re-tell something that was originally written in a way that most people would find dry nowadays to a simple, entertainingly whimsical (yet still covering the material) fashion. Tthe ending STILL winds up very creepy, even in a Seuss style, which is quite a feat on it's own. @.@
Seriously, we're both here in awe of your work, and the medium that you used to re-tell a classic piece of horror.

I really enjoyed this project you did.
I loved Dr. Seuss as a kid, and since I watched a lets play of Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth(And various other video games with Lovecraft mythos in them), Ive become quite interested in Lovecrafts stories.

Howdy, thanks so much for enjoying this enough to take the time to make a pdf available. Because of the potential for future copyright issues if this is ever released, however, I'd prefer it if folks were just directed back here for now. Sorry! It's nothing personal - I've had numerous requests from folks who wanted to do the same. Please don't hate me!

I've been following your project since the first posts. My girlfriend sent me the link while.I was on deployment and I immediately bookmarked it on my phone so I could never lose it. I can tell you, I know an easy hundred or so people that are eagerly awaiting it to be released ( me included. Not to mention this will score major points!!!!!!) Any word on progress towards publishing it? Hell, what are the odds of me getting a personal copy made up for me? If possible, I'm gonna propose with this book, it'll be a for sure yes then!!!!!

Thanks for your support. Believe me, I know there are a lot of folks waiting for this.
I'm doing the best I can with the time I have available, but playing a mild-mannered teacher during the day takes up a significant amount of my time. I've got holidays coming up, and I'm hoping for some movement during the break.
Hopefully all of our patience will be rewarded!
Take care, and stay safe.

Hey man, I had a 3rd grader in the school I work in pestering me to tell her what Cthulhu was.
I read her your version of this story and she loved it. Not sure if you actually intend this to be appropriate for children, she had a bit of a hard time with some of the bigger words, but you helped me introduce someone to Lovecraft in a positive way.
Thanks for that! She wanted me to read her your version of The Tomb as well, but I think I'll hold off on that one.

Would you mind if I hand made a copy of this book as a gift for my brother? I already have plans for a nice "stitched skin" cover for it that would look particularly good considering the subject matter.
