With Chaosium's hardback release of _H.P. Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu (for beginning readers)_ apparently imminent, I thought some of you might be interested in a glimpse of how the first page's art was edited and revised over time.Β The most recent revisions took place during 2016 in preparation for printing, with approximately one third of the book's artwork being updated.Thanks for all the support, folks!

So weirdly beautiful how it becomes gradually Whovian only to revert almost all the way back to the late October 2001 version (only cleaner).
