Hello, my name is Lien and I'm running away from the Fire Nation.

Name: Lien
Age: 16
Nation: Water Tribe
Likes: Dancing, nature, listening, cool weather, freedom
Dislikes: Small rooms, uneven ground, large cities, hot weather, confinement
Other: Lien is unable or not willing to speak. Whether her condition is physical or mental is unkown, but ever since she was captured Lien has not spoken a single word. Only her family would know if she is able to speak or not.
Lien is also a Water Bender. She discovered her talent while practicing dance near a jug of water. Knowing that she would be in danger if anyone knew, Lien hid her abilities and practiced in what little privacy she had. Now that she is no longer under the Fire Nation's rule Lien uses every chance she gets to practice and expand her knowledge of her bending potential. The movements she uses to bend are slightly different from regular Water Bending because she is self-taught and uses dance to call forth the water and shape it to her will.
Personality: Lien is a freedom loving, ambitious young woman who has a talent with the arts. She loves all things natural and enjoys the quiet of the outdoors. She's kind to those who treat her with what she conciders the right amount of respect, and though she won't directly confront those who she dislikes or have done something wrong to her, she finds clever and annoying ways to appose them and cause them trouble. Eager to learn and to put her knowledge to good use, Lien usually finds ways around any obsticals she comes across. When around those she trusts, Lien is open about her feelings and doesn't hesitate to let those around her know how she's feeling. In addition to being unafraid to show her own feelings, Lien is also very aware of others' emotions and can use this to her advantage. If she feels the need, though, Lien is able to keep even the slightest change in her mood hidden.
History: Lien was born in the Northern Water Tribe but one day, while on a trip with her family, she got seperated from her parents and was found by group of Fire Nation soldiers. Taken back to the Fire Nation, Lien was enrolled in a school for girls to be trained into artisans and performers. Lien took to dancing right away and excelled beyond everyone's expectations. After her graduation from the school, Lien spent some time in a Fire Nation city, performing in local gatherings. After a few years a division of the Fire Nation's army passed through on the way to the Earth Kingdom to launch an attack. The officers of the division noticed Lien and 'bought' her from her current caretakers. Finding life amongst the Fire Nation's soldiers distasteful, Lien made preparations to run away. After a few weeks of prepartion Lien was ready to make a break for it while in the Earth Kingdom. With her few posessions she decided to keep Lien escaped at night from the soldier's camp and has been on the run ever since. Lien is not sure where she is headed, besides away from the Fire Nation's armies, but so far she has been lucky and kept out of harm's way and she hopes that it stays that way.
