As I said elsewhere, the gnolls are discussed in my monster manual, but there's nothing about them that'll encourage you to pay them a friendly courtesy visit on an afternoon's ramble through the countryside.

not in the least - the gnolls of Aura and Sulros in the campaigns I've played in have been civilised however, although you'd hardly guess it from the way Vitus behaves. But even he would be *horrified* by Jrska & Drhazz
