Description
I just got the AT graphic novel #1 :"Playing With Fire", and it somehow inspired me to write this story.

Story: It was another normal afternoon for Finn and Jake to be relax at their tree house until Finn's phone suddenly rings.

Finn answered the phone and said, "Hello....uh....Yes, I'll be there".

“Who was it?” Jake asked.

“It was Flame Princess”, Finn responded, “She wants to have a word with me.”

Jake smiled at Finn and said, “Hey, this may be your chance!”

“Nah,” Finn responded, “Her voice had no emotions at all, and this is probably the end for me and her.”

“Well Finn, you will never know until the very end!” Jake tried to give Finn confidence.

“So, are you coming along, Jake?” Finn asked.

“I wish I could Finn, but Lady said she needs me very soon!” Jake answered.

“Well, looks like I’ll have to go alone.”

“Good luck Finn, may Glob be with you!”

Finn traveled to the outer edge of the Fire Kingdom and FP was already there, standing on the cliff and staring the center of the lava river.

“Hello, Finn.” FP said it with no emotions; she seems to be regret and depressed.

Finn was a little nervous; he still wanted to apologize for what he did, "Flame Princess, I...".

However, before he could begin, FP stopped him and said, “No, I am sorry…when we met last time…I was being cold on you, even though it was your fault.”

“But it was true…” Finn responded, “I would never realized how wrong I was if you didn't, and I learned my lesson now, so… I suppose I have to thank you.”

FP chuckled a little bit and said, “There is something I want to ask you.”

“Sure FP, anything” Finn said.

“Why did you love me?”

“What?”

FP turned around angrily toward Finn and said, “Why you loved me regardless of what I have done, all I ever did was destruction ever since I got out from that lamp. Bubblegum, Goblins, Penguins, and even my father saw me as a threat, why you saw me differently?”

“Because I have faith in you!”

“What do you mean?”

“Look, how do I say this… your powers are awesome, I always thought you will be one of the greatest heroes of Ooo. I always believe in that, especially like how you standed up for me that day when Ice King insulted us. But…it also made me lost side of right and wrong…I loved the way you fight so much that I was desperately wanted to see that again and I…I…”

“You tricked me into fighting that old ice man again.”

“Yes…I am…I am so sorry…” Finn started to have tears in his eyes and sniffed.

“Well…that explained everything, you loved me because how dangerous I am, while others dislike me because I made others suffer…”

“No…not just that…” Finn responded, “I have seen your heart, FP, you are not evil at all, you just lack…uh...uh...”

“Responsibility.” FP finished for Finn.

“Uh…Yes!” Finn answered.

“I have been the ruler of this kingdom for quite some time now, and I found out life is not just about good or evil, it is about how one makes the decision and how is it going to come back to the one who makes the decision.”

“Yes FP, people will remember what you’ve done, and they will either be grateful or fearful of you depending on your choice.”

"Well...I kept on hearing a lot of people putting good words on you, saying whenever there are troubles, you will always be the one who steps in and saved the day, but I couldn’t figure out how could a hero like you have done something so selfish and so evil. I thought heroes are supposed to be flawless.”

“Well FP, A hero does not mean flawless, I made mistakes and I tried to learn the lessons from them, but that does not mean I am evil. The point here is how can one learn from mistakes and not let the wrongness repeat itself."

“I suppose that make sense, no one is perfect. Being a ruler is such a complex job, there are so many things I have to do for my people, but I have seen a lot from doing this, so...sigh, I guess...I have to thank you too.”

“About that FP…I just want to say something...may I?”

“Okay, but make it fast, I have to go soon.”

“You…you don’t have to a princess or a queen of any kingdom FP, you can be so much more. I mean you now seems to understand what it takes to be a hero. Be a hero of Ooo FP, and…you don’t have to come alongside with me. You can go alone if you wish, but Jake and I will always be there if you ever need us.”

FP picked up a rock, kissed it, handed to Finn, and said, “Thank you, but now I have to be a hero of my kingdom.” FP then left for her throne.
Finn looked at FP faded into the layers of smokes while his tears flowed all over his face and said, “I am so proud of you…”
