Description
Kiss me,Oh dear sky.
Oh, how I wish you'd let me fly!
And ocean deep,
Sing me to sleep
With your ancient lullaby.
Carry me on softened waves
Of ivory foam and liquid slate,
For I have stayed up much too late.
It's time for me to sleep at last,
On dripping clouds
Or newest grass,
Night has come, the day is past.
Rest my head on heather sweet,
Feel the cold about my feet
As the sun drifts behind the hills.
Close my eyes, clear my mind
With smells of lavender and thyme
Yes, yes, let me fall asleep.
The wind will carry me tonight,
On this one imagined flight,
And the sea will meet me with the morning.

Sounds suspiciously like a child's nursery rhyme. Congrats for the young children everywhere and their new lullaby! The words might be a little difficult for preschoolers though...
