Don't you think it's a little rude to ask the artist to change the design just because you don't like it? I get the character may stand out to you, but you're asking the creator of this adopt to change their original design and edit their hard work just to fit your specifications; it would have been easier and more courteous, I think, to ask them if they made custom designs and to get one from them that looks similar to this, instead of expecting them to change their art just to fit your needs when someone else wants to buy the design as it is.

I think it isn't rude at all. They could have said no. But they said they'd most likely change it. Though, I also sell adoptables and I am used to changing things. There is nothing rude about it at all. And in general it's first come first get's it unless the description tells you otherwise but it's fine. When the other person wants the design so bad I'll go with it. I'll just draw a new character for myself then, when I get the time that is.
