Are you characters tier one, or are they part of larger organizations?

Part of larger org. our GM is very lenient with a lot so our game is tweaked a bit to help new players like me, we have one seasoned player and them two other people and I who are brand new to it (gotta say I caught on much quicker than I anticipated).

Nice team! I ran a Hunter game once for a friends going away party... it went pretty terrible... one member of the group was a dirty cop and another had a detachable robot hand and perhaps the best name ever, Dragonhead Smith. Then most everybody got drunk and I left. Good times. Sounds like your game went much better. XD
Had some good times with Vampire: The Requiem too and I'm a big Changeling fan though I've never gotten to play it. > 3>

That is a pretty badass team! And as long as you have fun it's a good game! Ours has a good balance of silly and serious, it's loads of fun and actually my very first game ever. I own a ton of the books but I've never actually played, glad to have finally found a group interested in doing it. The only downside is they're in another state so I have to drive over an hour and a half to get to my game but it is SO worth it XD

Woah, an hour and a half drive? That is some dedication! XD Grats on finding a good group! It can be hard sometimes. o:
Everyone I've ever talked too seems to have more books than games played... I dunno why that is. I have like four books at least that I was really excited to get but have never been able to play. XD;;

I have like six different game books sitting around, The Vigil is the only one I've played. Game was based on how many would be in our group, it started out with me and one other player, then a few of my friends heard and were totally into joining and our team beefed up a bit!
It's the only group of friends I have that'll play with me, so you're darn tootin' I'm dedicated! XD It was super hard to find people, so now that I have I bother them all the time about it

Well it's a monster hunting dice game. Our game takes place in London, which has an immense quarantine going on (which we haven't figured out why yet). Erik is from America and is a badass merc, Eleanor is our engineer who's currently in the process of binding a demon cat to a suit of armor, Ashton is a drug dealer with a mouth and tends to get us all in trouble and my girl is a gravedigger from France who got beat up a lot in gang fights. They run into such demons as: a giant centipede creature manipulated by the union to tunnel the subway system when it was first made (encountered in the subway system where we promptly managed to derail the fuck out of our train), a voodoo master who screwed up a ritual (so guess not a master haha) and almost got us killed, and a haunted house where a family was murdered by the husband with an axe (cue creepy exploring house, we decided to start in the attic rather than basement, where we found a dead body just staring at us). We've also come across a HUGEEEE spider about the size of a small building, and a creepy farm where everyone smiles! It's super duper fun. That's pretty much the gist of it XD more than you probably expected too sorry!

awwiee thanks ^w^ I feel I end up stuck in "death" mode, I was trying so hard to make a character that had nothing to do with the dead. That worked out great for me XD

lol that may be true but being dead is really the only similarity. you really give them their own original background story!
however, i still remember some of your older, unfinished comics on your old smackjeeves account o_o like the alien girl or something. and hanl. maaaannnnnn you should just bring in all characters into one page and just have a crazy party

lol the alien one I've actually been thinking about a lot. I keep trying to draw something of it because I've really been wanting to. HANL I was supposed to update this summer but I just couldn't get what I wanted down. I do plan on working on some of the old and some of the new I just need the time and the perfect day (some days I'm like OMFG I'M DRAWING SO GOOD NOTHING CAN STOP ME and then other days I'm like...Fuck everything -flips desk- ) I also have the issue of OMG VIDYAGAMEZ! -gears of war until 5am- >_> I'm trying though!

Yeah I do doodle a lot I should sccan what I have, problem is I don't like a lot of my doodles and a lot of them are lame and such -shy- XD I've been playing so much, I play a lot of Gears and I just got Battlefield 2 so I'm like yaaaay. I'm on xbox a whole loooot, so distracted at BEING AWESOME (lol jk). I haven't been on Steam in a bit cause my computer is a piece of crap and can't run shit (you should add me though, Templeguard (on both bawkz and steam hurr creativity). TF2 is an awesome game though so I think that's forgivable.
I'm also not a Homestuck fan so I wouldn't get it either. Personally I do not like it at all but some of the fanart is incredible, but, again, don't get it -shrug-

it doesnt matter if they're lame, they are doodles, they dont care if they're lame, they dont have a sense of self-esteem.
._. what i hate about being a student is that im an avid gamer⦠but only in the terms of the games i own. i can't buy any new games or the popular games or games essential to the gaming culture so i have to read wikipedia synopsis's to get the inside jokes ): yes how pseudo of me
i dont have an xbox (yes what high school boy does not have an xbox? one that has asian parents. i have my sad gamecube), and i need to purchase something on steam to be able to add people :l i should get a vista gift card. but ya i'm kapital_92 on steam, i'll add you when i can
also i refound your cosplay as scout! did you pull off his boston one-liners? where did you get that snazzy earphone?

Yeah I totally did do all the one liners and the earphones were actually from ebay, they're the construction noise canceling ones and I cut off one side and added a microphone.
I did post a few of the sketches I've done, I'll be putting up more when I draw more!
And omigawsh you totally need one! My 360 is pretty much my life, I'm always online gaming. I waste a stupid amount of time on games, but I write it off as social activity I mean I AM online with my buddies XD; You totally need one though so we can get our game on

dude so i got L4D2. i've been playing it a lot, but the mac cracked version doesnt have multiplayer. so i've realized just how. fucking. annoying. the bots are. THEY ALWAYS GET INCAPACITATED RIGHT WHEN THE HELI/BOAT ARRIVES. GRRRRFUCK.
but anyways yeah man i saw your sketch of your unorkly ork and i was confused because at first i was like "steampunk" then i was like "no wait what"
oh yeah idk about you but when i play l4d2 my melee weapon takes up 70% + of my kills. fucking machetes man, i love them.
ADD ME ON STEAM MAN I CAN ACCEPT PEOPLE NOW FOR SOME REASON or is your computer still broken

DrJekyllMrHyde In reply to Femoc [2011-09-20 16:19:30 +0000 UTC]
Nah my computer works....sort of. I just haven't played much cause I'm still afraid of major lagging or freezing on my part XD And awww you need multi on that! I hate playing with bots, I always try to play with people, though I find that a lot of people get SUPER competetive in it, strategy is fine, but I hate when people are trying to control what I do and then get pissy if I don't do something according to their plans or mess up.
Doubt I'll be playing much of anything except Gears 3 though for now XD; SO EXCITED I CAN BARELY CONTAIN IT
And yess he is an Ork and I cannot draw burly things, so he is very un-ork like but that's ok i love him regardless. That's another thing I'm into 40k T_T my hobbies are super expensive XD

how in depth do you play into every game? i play them, then play with director's commentary, then increase difficulty, then create stupid challenges for myself, then play until i dream about it. its not hard because i dont have that many games :l
lol dude i remember in the original Serial Box you drew the three burly crazy men and bethany and they ended up looking like "scrawny emo kids"

DrJekyllMrHyde In reply to Femoc [2011-09-24 03:06:18 +0000 UTC]
I usually start off on the hardest difficutly, and if I don't it's usually one step below. I always go back and play multiple times, if I'm lower than the hardest levels I'll take them on. I mostly play a lot of multi after beating campaign. The more I like the game, the more I play it and more I invest. I mostly try for skill over anything so I try to get better each time and learn new tactics.
Haha they still do! All my beefy men look silly XD everyone I draw is scrawny
