Made this and the other Celtic Cross up as a response to a story told to me by a coworker. Apparently a fundamentalist Christian gave her a real hard time for wearing one of these on a necklace because they're '
agan'. I made these up and used them as my desktop and screensaver to see if I would get hassled. I guess he only picks on women because I never heard a thing.Total props to Annika Von Holdt

this is absolutely beautiful... celtic designs *do* date back to the pagan time, and are still used in some pagan practices today, but that does not mean that any and all celtic designs are exclusively pagan or to be seen as such, nor does it excuse that man's ignorance. celtic designs themself are neither pagan, christian, or otherwise, instead it's what each wants it to represent, what it means to them, and even then, it's still an individual thing. i applaud you not only on an amazing design, but for standing up for your friend and making someone realize their own ignorance.

Thanks! I was just so angry that someone would get bent out of shape about something like this that I had to express myself. I threw both of the cross pieces together in less than an hour or so. I was totally inspired.
