A wyvern fan concept I did for an upcoming game called Emberfall. "Razorback" This wyvern dwells in the mountains typically. It is a opportunistic hunter that will often scavenge corpses or bully others that are smaller than it off their freshly killed prey. The Razorback prefers to hunt solo, though it will pack up occasionally to take down larger prey if it is desperate. This wyvern prefers high places so it can survey it's surroundings easily. This was painted in photoshop CC and took roughly 19 hours to complete.Related content

The sketch at the bottom right shows with wings attached. The wings are missing to show what the back looks like but the creature itself will have attached wings.

Personally, I would have used black or some other color to fill in the cutaway. It took me a second to realize that the hole I was looking at was just a wing cutaway and not a hole straight through the body.
Still, though, spectacular work, as always!
