may i ask if there is a specific time period this is based in or is it like dinosaurs from the cretaceous like Tyrannosaurus Rexcan meat Jurassic dinosaurs like allosaurus?

LOL! No, it's set in the North American Barremian Cretaceous. I fudged a few species that haven't been discovered in North America, like Microraptor, but there was a land bridge between Asia and North America at the time so it's not super out there in the realm of scientific possibility.

and if thats the case does that mean no tyrannosaurus since acrocanthosaurus was abit before it?
or is this cretaceous mixed with early and late?

That is correct. Acros are the ruling theropods/hunters. There are some Albian dinosaurs, etc. but everything is Early Cretaceous.

sweet i love how acrocanthosaurus seems to be rising in popularity recently, i knew of it when i was young and i see it in alot of games nowadays its nice
