FF stand for #FeedbackFrenzy by the way. I did that as a part of their wonderful contest!

By the way Ice, our system is going to detect this comment as a separate critique So it could affect your score!

I will speak to =ziinyu for you and see if we can get it removed.

Oh, I didn't know that, I thought you just looked at the comments manually.

Thanks for the heads up.

Already taken care of, so no worries!

The system actually only looks at the first comment (within the timeframe) that you post on a deviation. This way you can't rig it by critiquing the same thing twice! Afterwards we manually go through and check any special cases (like duplicates and so on). The automation part is actually pretty cool, we feed a script the list of eligible deviations, the list of participant names, and the time frame of the contest. Then it goes through and loads all those deviation pages (including paging through the comments) searching for comments. It also goes through the participant critique pages to search for official critiques. At the end it gives us back direct links to every comment + critique!

A little bit after this contest I'll be posting a bit more about how everything works!

For FF:

First I'd like to say that this is a very funny and clever stamp.
Here are a few tips though on how to improve this a little and make it awesomer!

The hat is very well pixeled. I like the colors and dithering on it! My only suggestion for it is maybe remove the extra pixels off the outline so the pixels on the outline are only touching diagonally at the "turns". That's not a big issue though, because it's on a dark background it's not very noticeable. But if you're going to make something like this on a light background, than it would be a good idea to remove those to make it look a little bit more clean.

The wizard lizard's tail looks really nice. I really like how you made the scales. Though, to make it look even better, I would change the shading a little bit. Right now the body is a little bit darker than the tail, but since the tail is behind the body, I would make the tail a little darker than the body. Also it would also look really good if you made the shading a little more prominent. Just making the colors a little more different than the other would do the trick.

The animation pretty good. The different colors in the sparkles are a nice touch. My only suggestion for the animation is to make it so the sparkles explode at different times, that way the viewer doesn't see the same thing a bunch of times. It keeps them interested a little longer.

All in all, it's a very nice stamp! Very nicely pixeled and animated, and only needs a few tweaks to bring it to more awesome levels! Hope you found this helpful for future works of yours!
