Description
This is a map of a section of Junction, the Crossroads of the Planes, which appears in Vol. 2 of my Dead Magicians Club novel series... entitled, naturally enough, Streets. The whole thing was drawn by hand on 12"x18" paper. First a simple layout of the streets and blocks with pencil, then *every single* building one-by-one in ink. Street names added in Photoshop.Although it was tough on the hand and wrist to draw, I had a lot of fun doing it

e-Pubs any time soon, or hard copy only? I'd love to pick up the book(s), but I find it easier to get for my Kindle b/c I am out of space for hc.
Fantastic work on the map...great dedication!

does anyone else feel this is a rip-off of robert asprin's book "another fine myth" from the myth series?

The concept of a multi-planar crossroads is not unique to the myth series, nor was the idea created there. One of the earlier "modern fantasy" versions was created by Moorcock for some of his books.

awesome map, very professional... i don't suppose you've considered doing some modern day style maps of suburbs at all?

To answer your question: no, not really. I draw maps when I have the need for them; which is normally only for my books or when I'm playing an RPG such as Dungeons & Dragons

So, in penny lane does the barber shave another customer while people laugh behind his back?

To quote Vol. 2 Streets:
Tent Town is just that: a trading centre composed of nothing but an endless and colourful variety of tents, marquees, yurts, canopies, lean-tos and awnings. The tracks and pathways that divide the innumerable stalls sometimes change on a daily basis, depending on how successful any given merchant is. The more successful, the longer they stay. Some have even been there for years, with boutiques that border on being permanent structures, and are often looked on as the unofficial leaders of the transient community within a community.
