The twenty-fourth in a series of comics I'm writing. I've learned a lot of things from my year on dA: various memes, styles and terminologies.
This week, Shipping! If you've never heard of the term, or still think it has something to do with trade, search it up on Urban Dictionary. Okay, when someone first used the term "shipping" in my presence, I thought they were slightly mad. It didn't seem to make sense. They said something along the lines of "I don't ship my characters," which baffled me to no end. Eventually someone told me the definition and my reaction was simply, "Ah." Shipping is something I see a lot on this site (usually marked as CharacterXCharacter), so having a name for it really doesn't really change anything. I'm not entirely sure where this whole idea comes from, but it usually ends in Yaoi. And if you've read my comics from the start, you'll know that Yaoi and I don't get along

For anyone wondering about the character in the last panel, his name is Alexander, and his creation went through several stages of refinement and reassessment. I'm fairly happy with the way he turned out, and I might consider drawing him again.

Oh, one more thing. IF I SEE ONE BLOODY FANART FEATURING SCOOTER, NEGA-SCOTT, ALEXANDER OR ALL THREE IN A "SHIPPING" SCENARIO, I. WILL. END YOU.
