Been meaning to comment on this image earlier. Forgive the delay in doing so!
First off, a great image and a perfect starting point for any number of shrinking scenarios. Personally, I prefer the idea that the shrinking app is a 'line of sight' device, i.e. the shrinking effect only works on those in direct view of the phone. The guys on the other side of the lockers would not be affected. I like the idea that those closer or in longer exposure to the phone would shrink smaller than those who came into contact later. Eventually, I'd like to think that all the lads would wind up at the same tiny size. Also, how would the device be turned off?? Wait until the battery runs down?? That could possibly take hours! If the owner comes across it and tries to switch it off, he runs the risk of being reduced along with his teammates.
As I said, this image is the potential jumping off point for a whole range of shrinking scenarios. Be interesting to see what you and/or other contributors come up with!

The funny thing is that the other two guys who seem to not have shrunk yet but are looking at the other shrinking guys are in the area that the app reaches so soon they are going to experience the same shrinking. What a nice way to collect a group of hot petsd, erm I mean team mates..... hell no I mean pet. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

If you look closely, you'll see that those two guys have actually started to shrink. They probably haven't even realized that they're shrinking too.

Perhaps the further away you are from the phone, the slower the shrinking effects. So you would all wind up at the same tiny size, but you'll shrink at different rates. Would be quite disorienting to be in the middle of the group, all shrinking down but at different speeds and rates.
