Description
Part one of my entry for contest being run by Part two will be coming later, after some much needed sleep... and work... I was so excited when I found out about this contest that I got part one (and concept for 2) done in one night and I have to wake up in a couple hours. Hah!
Β ANYWAY! Here's my next-next gen creation!
Name: Pastel
Parents: Turquoise Blitz and Anthea
Personality: Quiet, Gentle, Nurturing
Bio: Pastel is the oldest son of Annie and T (I just imagine them as such awesome loving parents that I can't imagine them with only one child). He inherited a lot of unicorn from his mother and grandmother, but the dragon in him still shows some, mostly in his size. He's nearly as large as his father and from a distance could be mistaken for a large draft horse. He considers his parents to be the kindest ponies anyone could ever know and strives to be as good as they are. His extremely quiet by nature, speaking only when necessary and usually in soft tones.
He's very proud of his role as big brother, and gladly helped care for his younger siblings, becoming quite protective of them. He feels protective of his parents as well. He believes that other ponies could take advantage of his father's generosity and his mothers disability. He can be a bit guarded around ponies outside his own family because of this and it takes a while for others to earn his trust.
His whole life he has always been able to find beauty in everything around him. He likes to capture moments he finds beautiful by drawing or painting. He loves that he has claws because he finds he has much more control over quills and paints with his claws than he has with his mouth or magic. One of his favorite things to do growing up was describe things to his mother, like a beautiful sunset, or a cute scene of his baby siblings napping. He never talked as much as he did at those moments.
ANNNND thats Pastel for you.
EDIT: I changed the linework back to black. I tried the colored lines, but I like black better. Also made his coat a bit paler because that's the look I was going for.
