Description
I'm really proud of how this came out Especially since I got creative with shading my plants--now the Pandoran plants look much more realistic, reflecting light better!

My Na'vi Ayn'Γ€tmey wading in shallow water, looking for delicacies, when she gets a visit from an atokirina. Β

I wanted this image with less noise, but after 20 hours of rendering, the computer shut itself down and restarted. Knowing that DAZ can (and will) crash at any time or that my computer will, I've developed the habit of taking screenshots at about 2 hours intervals. With this picture, however, I think I lost 4 hours. Still, I think it looks really nice. One day I might go back and render it in sections.
Made in DAZ Studio, with postwork.

Phenomenal.Β The hair looks especially good and now I'm curious, did it receive some special attention in post or is it all DAZ?

It is all DAZ. I did useΒ a special shader, and this hair showed it off very well.

That's an impressive render! The figure's anatomy is too far off for me but the realism on head and hair is great. And the background is just spectacular!
Top notch!

It could just be the angle. If you look at ither pictures, the anatomy is more clear. Would love to hear your thoughts on those.

Yes, her hair has changed. Her old hair does not work well on the new model.

Thank god her necklace doesn't use dforce or you'd have to increase the age rating.
Also as someone who's attempting their own male na'vi got any tips for texturing the skin? And how did you make the queue?

Haha yeah! Actually we really need dForce necklaces. But how not to distort the pendant? It seems a little difficult for DAZ to do. Unless you know of some others? Iβm quite curious!
The skin is quite a process. Since I plan on making another Naβvi soon, I might well post a tutorial!

This seems to suggest that it is possible but would be complicated.
A tutorial might be interesting as my attempts of just recolouring the base skin layer and adding aditional layers just doesn't look right on the render.
