FYI, if you do the shading on it's own layer, you can CTRL+click the layer icon (thumbnail) and it will select everything on that layer. Soooo, you could be kinder to your eyes in your color choices.

i have a mac, so it's a bit twitchier about commands OTL on top of which, every time i've tried something similar to that, the selection isn't particularly clean *shrug*
but this is very useful to other people with PCs! so glad you brought it up :3

I'm on a Mac as well. You just need to set you thumbnail images a bit larger so it is easier to click.
Tho' now that I am thinking about it, it may be Command+click on the Mac...
