Ahhh I'm totally not late *nervous laughter* I had a really hard time doing this I'm not gonna lie , especially trying to incorporate the hands even though you can't really see them.
At first I wanted to do this drawing in a cartoonish style, but I wanted to make my drawing a little more emotional and deep. What better way than it to be a rainy scene.

Starting every month now, I plan on randomly choosing one person from a list I make in which I then proceed to draw their Oc, and make a feature journal about them . If you would like to be on this list the only thing you need to do is support me by adding my drawings to your favorites. At the end of the month I will chose the lucky winner of my "raffle list" Please be advised that this will begin this month and will restart every months so you can't transfer"favorites" to the next month. Raffle list is just something I came up with and I hope everyone can participate in it

This is really nice. It really caught my eye when I was scrolling down the list of submissions.
I also looked through your gallery. All of your portraits are nice.
Do you mind giving some advice to someone who has recently tried some portrait drawings? Any websites or books you recommend? I have been going to the stock offerings here in DA, and some stock Flickr groups to find photos to use for drawing.

Ah thank you ;w; I'm not a professional or anything so I don't really know what to say. But what I do is that I look up speedpaints and try to see how they incorporate techniques or how they do things to make it look a certain way. Sometimes the process can go very fast so I have to pause it multiple times. Another thing I do is look up tutorials and practice on my own a lot. I hope this was helpful in some way ;3;

I never really drew people all that much. It is a new area. I will just keep practicing and look up some more tutorials. I sometimes find myself watching TV or a movie and studying how some character's face is put together. (Sometimes I lose the plot in the show.)
