AlphaTale is basically a AU where Alphys wants to take revenge on Asgore for replacing her for Gaster as his royal scientist (I guess that she wants to be the Alpha-Scientist [that's why I gave this AU that name]). Alphys kills Gaster changing into a lava-based being. Here's the link to a picture of the core that inspired me for Gaster's design http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/undertale/images/c/ca/Coreex.png/revision/latest?cb=20160104023145 , so after Killing Gaster she decided to fuse Gaster's sons Sans and Papyrus with two humans one being Chara and one being Frisk (Alphys will use those fusions to enact her revenge on the King). Ref sheets of Papyrisk and Sara are below. After making those fusions Alphys then plans on dethroning Asgore by killing him but she will have to get though Undyne first. I highly doubt that she would let Alphys kill Asgore.

It's hard to choose because Undyne will feel like crap for killing the one she loves, but Alphys is too far gone and is planning on killing the one she loves/loved. : D

I would be happy with path one, even if it means that poor Undyne has to kill Alphys. They really shouldn't be forced to kill each other but it's gonna happen anyway.

I honestly have mixed feelings about alphatale, considering that Alphys killed Gaster and now she wants to kill Asgore.. I'm not hating or anything, just don't make sense to me v_v but the fusions are pretty cool :3

Alphys has a reason for killing Gaster and wanting to Kill Asgore. That reason is stated here

I knew that, it's just that It feels a bit weird to me seeing Alphys overly jealous to the point where she has to fight Undyne to get to Asgore. Again, not trying to hate or anything and if I am I apologize v.v
