MLPFIM Elements of Corruption AU info The Elements of Corruption AU is a shared AU created by my girlfriend @Sigmath-Bits and myself. I created the designs for wobniaR Dash, MenaPink, Rottedjack, and Scale. My girlfriend created the designs for Twidark, Scarcity, and Bugbear.AU lore - A backfired dark magic spell caused by Twilight Sparkle plunged Equestria into a world of corruption that can't be reversed. As a result The 6 Elements also became corrupted. This caused all pre-existin' relationships between the Mane 6 to be broken. The Elements weren't the only important ponies to be corrupted. The Princesses Celestia and Luna were fused together as a result becomin' Queen Asolace (meanin' lack of sun/comfort). All ponies and creatures eyes glow when experiencin' intense emotions. Unlike the canon where there's no TV's there's TV's in the corrupted Equestria. Queen Asolace has a shared body with two heads that speak as one, an UnHoLy unity. She likes to perversely keep order, but these rules never apply to her. Discord who is completely unaffected by the corruption enjoys hangin' out with the Queen. Discord likes to revel in the chaos of the new world.Twidark (Element of Dark Magic) - Twidark seems like that she's a sourpuss all the time, and "only cares about herself". Super serious and hard on the outside, but softer on the inside (somethin' that she'll never admit). Previously sought out dark magic by choice, but due to the backfired dark spell she can no longer do regular magic. The spell that Twi casted permanently scared her, and caused her to loose her right eye (includin' the right eyelid). Twi's relationship with wobniaR is transactional "I scratch your back, you scratch mine" at first, but it grew stronger over time (Twidark refuses to admit it like the tsundere that she is [i.e. Twi loves her]). Scale - This dragon is the meek servant of Twidark. He has shards of dark magic crystals (dark greyish, dark purple, and bright green) protrudin' out of the right side of his head, back, and tail.wobniaR Dash (Element of Betrayal [Transmasc She/He]) - He uses anypony and everypony she wants for his own gain (except Twidark), and she has no respect for personal property. wobniaR is also very witty, and likes to get under other ponies skin (especially Twidark's). Bein' quite built, He's prepared to get violent especially if somepony mentions the name "Rainbow". Speakin' of, Twidark has done experiments on wobniaR regardin' this behavior. wobniaR's mane and tail are also colored in reverse order. Queen Asolace pays wobniaR in bits to cover the sky in grey clouds to block out the sun (because the queen DeSpIsEs the SuN).Scarcity (Element of Avarice) - She has an inflated sense of self, extremely vain, selfish, and greedy. Scarcity is immensely wealthy and uses it all for her own exploitative gain. She's always seen wearin' grandiose business-formal attire. She surgically embedded gold trim into her horn as a way to change her magic color to gold. Scarcity is in a relationship with Rottedjack, and gets her to do her dirty work (dealin' with threats against her wealth). Rottedjack (Element of Deceit [She/They]) - She's stocky, kind of dirty, and smells of rotten apples. Her coat color/patterns resembles that of a rotten apple. A no-nonsense kind of mare, she doesn't take no for an answer (except from Scarcity). RJ acts as a bodyguard for Scarcity (she gets paid in petty cash, but RJ doesn't mind the low payment). When dealin' with troublemakers she uses violence as a last resort turnin' first to intimidation and lyin'. Due to the overcast sky most of the yield of her apple trees are rotten. She still harvests these rotten apples, and ferments them into an alcoholic brew. RJ sells the brew to the citizens of this corrupted Ponyville as their only source of alcohol (wobniaR is VERY addicted to the stuff).Bugbear (Element of Brutality [It/Its]) - A hulkin' feral beast that communicates only in grunts and growls (MenaPink is the only pony that can understand it). It commands the creatures of the Everfree forest, and is often seen covered in bugs and insects. As it's name suggests Bugbear has a bear-like build, unkempt tattered fur, some mannerisms of a feral wolf, normal batpony-like wings (the wings look tiny on it), and fangs.MenaPink (Element of Tragicomedy [yes that is a word]) - Because of the corruption, the two halves of her face are distorted. Half looks so very happy, and the other half looks in constant despair (just like a certain pair of masks). The corruption also affected her brain in the same way. Instead of throwin' parties MenaPink enjoys puttin' on plays. When MenaPink is feelin' down Bugbear is there to comfort her with big bear hugs.
