I've been pondering over this piece for ages; still not completely sure it's full circle.. any thoughts?But anyway, Jayne (here: [link] ) wasn't having a good day and the guard was bein' bossy, and everyone knows when you mix an unstable psychic chick with authority, you get pretty colours and one less authority figure... *cough*

EDIT: Mmkay, I've heard yall comments, and I've added more shading, blood, giblets, tweaking, adjusting, blah blah. Just i don't wanna keep working on it for fear of killing it
My starting point was trying to get across how dangerous Jayne Wilde is when you tease her for being a tad mentally unstable, but I think I've ended up spreading myself too thin with a stupidity massive and cumbersome 2000 by 2500 pixel workspace worth of imagery, and now it just feels like it's getting to the point where i'm pouring on thousand island dressing to make it better
But blah, whatever. I have ridiculous and unreasonable standards of myself anyway, and I've learnt a lot from this picture. And I don't have a clear picture of what this 'should' look like, even with my standards

i was thinking that too, the blood didnt get vapourised because its so free moveing. or the blast eats up rock to dust and blood went to little drops but combined on the floor. yeah, thats my story XD

hahaha yeah... i felt the blast marks in the wall look like they've been more vaporised then anything else (because they're too smooth to be blasted out, but still dirty enough to look like it's the aftermath of an energy/electrical discharge).

I feel like what i had in mind was maybe too intense for my skills at the moment, and it feels like i maybe slapped textures and pretty colours prematurely; like before the base (outlines, colours, what's actually happening in the picture) where finished
I dunno.. blah I'm sure my future boss won't sit me down and say "Now, we were almost going to hire you, but we found this picture on your Deviant Art page... and we find the lack of gore and rubble to be absolutely irresponsible! Get out!"
haha yeah.. Umm, i'd advise staying in school, doing all the basis junkie stuff that everyone expects everyone else to have, and then power towards what you want.
haha I'm still young dude. I was the youngest in i think all my classes at tech.. but that's okay. In my short experience, it doesn't matter when you get into it, it's how much you put into it. So with you and your fiery guts and imagination, you'll rip the roof off!!

looks great, and profound
a few details will make this greater yet.
little blood spaters, not just the big ones, but make little spliches of em. little dots even, and medium sized ones.
second, it needs more rocks and gravil from the wall on the floor. didnt even know that was a broken wall or an illusion. lol gravil and rocks should help
and 3rd, more bloody bits, you dont really have to do this one, if the body/ bodies got compleatly destroyed. or if you dont want too, the effect is there, but the wall residue is not.
over all, one of the best things ever!!!!!!!!1111

Mmm that's another good point. I was kinda justifing in my head that a lot of the wall and floor was vapourised in the blast thing... but that's just an excuse for me to not draw rubble everywhere
