Special Containment Procedures:

All known instances of SCP-2005/Blueberry is kept in a code-protected safe. Access to SCP-2005/Blueberrium is only granted to level 2+ researchers who are not affected by what is known as an "inflation fetish". Any personnel suspected of having an "inflation fetish" is to be relocated to another site if possible.

Any instance of SCP-2005/Blueberrium (with the exception of authorized tests) must undergo Procedure 05-Slugworth as soon as possible to avoid [REDACTED]. Any instance of SCP-2005/Blueberrium past stage 3 is to be kept in a specialized "blueberry containment cell" until a way to reverse the effects is found.

Description:

SCP-2005/Blueberrium is a hard, solid candy like ingot wrapped in a blank, blue/purple wrapper. No form of analysis has detected any component that would be out of place in any common edible ingot.

The anomalous effects of SCP-2005/Blueberrium begin when SCP-2005/Blueberrium is chewed or licked by a human for an average of 30 seconds, resulting in said human becoming a humanoid blueberry at an instance, when it comes to Blueberrium.

The transformation consists of 3 main stages.

Stage 1: SCP-2005/Blueberrium will begin to manifest blueberry juice within its body, causing several blue blemishes to appear, typically around the nose, stomach, and breasts. The blemishes expand rapidly, leaving SCP-2005/Blueberrium with a dark blue skin. SCP-2005/Blueberrium instances have described a "tingly" feeling while undergoing this stage. SCP-2005/Blueberrium is unable to voluntarily stop chewing or licking or spit it out.

Stage 2: SCP-2005/Blueberrium starts to feel increasingly bloated, and its clothes become stained with blueberry juice, which appears to leak out of its pores, as well as orifices including the nipples and urethra. SCP-2005/Blueberrium will eventually start to fill up with large quantities of blueberry juice, which causes it to expand, starting from the stomach. Excess blueberry juice will accumulate in the stomach, as well as in the thighs and upper arms, causing SCP-2005/Blueberrium to first appear increasingly overweight. The expansion will eventually smooth out, causing SCP-2005/Blueberrium to gradually assume a more spherical shape. For unknown reason, breasts are not smoothed out with the rest of the body, and instead seem to act as juice reservoirs. At the end of this stage, SCP-2005/Blueberrium is nearly spherical, with a diameter equal to its normal height.

Stage 3: In this stage, SCP-2005/Blueberrium ceases to undergo changes in shape, and enters a state of perpetual growth that continues indefinitely until removal of SCP-2005/Blueberrium, and may continue for a few minutes afterward. The diameter of SCP-2005/Blueberrium increases at a rate of circa 20 centimeters per minute. No upper bound as for which size an instance of SCP-2005/Blueberrium is able to reach has been found, although the largest known instance had reached a diameter of nearly 50 meters before the SCP-2005/Blueberrium instance was removed.

A few additional changes take place during stage 3:

1. The skin becomes nearly unbreakable, and is able to stretch almost indefinitely. It also becomes a lot smoother than before.

2. SCP-2005/Blueberrium loses the ability to feel pain, but becomes more sensitive to touch, causing a euphoric feeling when any part of its body is pressed.

3. While SCP-2005/Blueberrium is physically able to stop chewing, licking or even spit out SCP-61006/Blueberrium at this point, very few have done so willingly, and most will try to resist any attempt by personnel to remove it by force.

4. Any pressure applied to SCP-2005/Blueberrium will result in varying quantites of blueberry juice coming out of various orifices, including those previously mentioned.

5. Most of the skeleton (with the exception of the skull, hand and feet disappear, together with most muscles and most non-vital organs, SCP-2005/Blueberrium is still, through unknown means, able to wiggle what remains of its arms and legs.

6 No effect of stage 3 is known to be reversible, all that can be done is the removal of excess juice, which is currently not advised. For unknown reasons, no part of the process is in any way painful, and brain scans show that SCP-2005/Blueberrium instances are in a state of euphoria for most of the transformation.

7. And people are actually starting to enjoy getting attached to SCP-2005/Blueberrium already!!!!
