Gammatron, formerly known as Handsombot, was a character in The Incredibles: Super Vs. Machine.

The Incredibles: Super Vs. Machine

Gammatron was one of the Robot Supers created by Dr. Robotico for Operation: Roboticization. The Operation Roboticization database assigned him a threat rating of 7.9, the second highest after Mr. Incredibot (9.1). Gammatron did manage to destroy the fifth version of the Dronoid during the training sessions for Operation Roboticization, but was promptly killed by his human self: the real Gamma Jack.

Abilities

Gammatron's superpower was the ability to create controlled bursts of radiation, from focused burns to complete disintegration. The maximum range of this high-intensity burst is 100 meters, before a sharp intensity falloff.

Personality

Easily recognized by his original costume like design since he was a favorite of the fembots (his original name being Handsombot) and was prone to megalomaniacal impulses, believing Robot Supers to be a "superior race." He chose to prioritise attractive fembots above attacking the innocent and had a particular issue with fighting attractive female robots. These impulses and traits caused the NRSA great concern, putting him under close "A Level" monitoring as a result. He was also a picky chooser.

Trivia

It appears as though the NRSA were deeply concerned that Gammatron is already a supervillain, due to his unstable and malicious nature and circuitry
