Description
This is my rendition of what would happen to a Sentinel if it became infected by the hideous zombie-like mutation called the Flood.Normally only biological beings with sufficient biomass (for example, humans and Elites) and intelligence can become Flood monsters. Sentinels are machines, therefore they are normally immune to the Flood.
This Sentinel Combat Form is lurking in its bloody lair, feeding on the decomposing corpses of its victims...

That stuff below it is a type of disgusting, blood-filled, organic Flood growth that can dissolve dead bodies that aren't turned into Flood combat forms (or far too damaged to be made into a new combat form). It's a rotting, gory, partially digested food for these Sentinel-Flood monsters. The Sentinel beast doesn't have jaws to chew up its food, so it has to suck it in with a proboscis, and it prefers its food partly digested

I imagine what it would be like, fighting in addition to regular Flood, flooded Sentinels as well. It would be the ultimate nightmare - flying Sentinel/Flood with tentacles and Sentinel beam weapons melee attacking and shooting at you at the same time

Sweeeet! I switch between sentinel beam & shotgun on the Sentinel/Flood levels in Halo 2. Sentinel beam for medium/far range and shotgun for close encounters.

I used photoshop 9 as a tool aid to create this image - I combined the foreground and the background to make it look like the blood all over the floor disappears into the background. Plus i used the filters function to enhance features on the characters in the image.
