Description A student whom I loved to draw. Beautiful and delicate on the outside, tough as nails hidden beneath.

A watercolor which was a B**** to scan. Had to do it in two pieces and patch them together. Not happy with scan and painting has some weak areas but I felt it did capture Branwen the way I wanted it to.

Best of luck to you Branwen wherever you are!

hey. Her left arm looks a little like rubber. don't ask why I said that. It really shows how much effort you put into it.

Yeah, I don't like that arm.
SO how was Turkey Day?
I'm still feeling stuffed.

NO FAIR! I didn't get to eat enough to even come close to being as stuffed as the turkey was!

Ah yes! I was really wanting to comment about this one when DA decided to go to system maintenance. She had a cute little smile there, that just calls out "I'm humoring you".

I have to ask if her hand was that way. Over all, she has a bit of a teddy-bear look about her. *s* I think it was very neat that you were able to do it, and it looks pretty. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I drew the picture in pencil an then the bell rang.
Weeks pass. Then I painted the face and then the bell rang.
Weeks pass. Then I painted the hair and shoulders and then the bell rang. Weeks pass. I tried to finish it without the model and ended up misreading my drawing, turning a section of ribbon into a bracelet. The pose was the as you see it but in trying to correct what I thought was a composition problem that turned out to be a misread I darkened the hand. Then when I scanned it The hand suffered even more from being on the overlap section of on of the 4 scans.

Oh bother.

Wow! That makes it even better! Life's little difficulties getting in the way make for interesting pictures, but you've overcome them admirably here.

Again, thanks for sharing the details with me.
