Description Doctor Strange with his usual obligatory touch of arrogance.

I really hate it when he is portrayed as a condescending snob. He plays off of characters like Spidey and Mr. Fantastic really well, but many writers with no respect or understanding of the character portay him as the quintessential, arrogant, rich doctor. Guys, he spent years living in a monastery getting over that attitude. I don't think Hoggoth and Agomotto would trust him with their artifactual mementos if he were still the snobby doctor some want him to be.

Thanks. You have an interesting name for your site. What are its meanings or origins?

....I forget. XD I think "Toah" is a Hebrew name meaning weapon, or dagger. I decided I liked it a long time ago and it stuck, I guess.

Love the title. And after all that time in medical school, along with teh training. I would give him a chance to be snobbish. But only for a little while.

ditko plotted the dr in the first...he definatly would be philosophically opposed to his creation being portrayed as condescending. his own personal philosophy would have made dr strange a little aloof from his fellows..much like ditko himself

That's an accurate take on him I'd say.
I wish writers of the good doctor felt the same way!

you can definately see the influence of rand in the writing and the art. you can also see where steve wanted to take 'the qestion' and other characters philosohically. clear black and white storytelling as well as black and white art. while he doesnt seem to have the gift of dialog, there is no doubt that he was a master of cartooning and storytelling.

Such a fellow. But if you have those kinds of powers, aren't you entitled to at least a little smirking?
