Superb comic coloring. Even if that ear looks a bit off shaded it passes with flying colors. I don't know... she doesn't look so sad to me as she looks introspective or something. If she is sad it seems to me she's got a thought to make her smile just crossing her mind at this very moment. As for how it stacks up, any job after a previous one is just that little bit better, but though you do neat things with high levels of lighting, I think you do your shades and shadow better. Keep it up!

Thanks. Dark shades help to contain the image I think, keeping our minds from wandering off in daydreams as they are wont to do on a well-lit day scene.

I worked graveyard at Simplot's in Burley while going to college. I was so glad to be done every summer. The pay was good but the hours didn't mesh with what I wanted to do with my days!

I think this one is the best you have done of her so far; the coloring is spot on! I really like the skin, it's not exactly realistic, but it has a real-world feeling, if you follow me ^_^ Good work!

Thanks. I had the skin a much redder hue and adjusted it with the Hue/saturation tool in PS7.
