It starts with a Inkling girl named Kai who was entering Inkopolis via the trains with her bags why did she come here? , because she was asked to come to a laboratory I mean her name is actually Dr.Kai after all , so she booked a room in the "Sai Salmon Motel" she got her lab coat and glasses on then she walked around the plaza waiting for about an hour so she looked at marine and pearl doing a podcast she listen to it but didn't care then later she got some food at a food truck and ate it feeling weird in the mouth them after a while she went to from herself "A Human like style in a temple" then she chatted with retired pop singer Callie and Maria and also why they retired , then she got a call and Kai had to leave then she got the directions to the next train ride, after getting the ticket Kai got aborded and got to the labs she was greatded with a tour guide into the labs called the "VIVA-00 Labs on Inkopolis" the tour guide showed new tech for splatters like a prototype crossbow and and weird pod that transports dead squids easier, then at the final one and weird old person started shouting at them Kai didn't get much info from his only that he was going deep underground at something about cuddle fish and him having a backwards shipper hat and headphones then the weird old man gave Kai a piece of Octoling which she kepted for herself then the man started smashing stuff and tour guide had to end the tour early , Kia didn't mind that since she got something to do home then she toke the train back to the motel and she got the ocotling hair and got some science shot out and started doing science stuff and eventually she didn't do anything , then she went to sleep in the bed and the octoling hair jumped out of the science stuff and crawled into Kai's ear then her hair grew longer and with more dots appearing then her tentacles turned from yellow to purple then she shrunk in size making her a bit younger then her clothes started to transform into octo like high tech bikini like clothing , after that she woke up and didn't cate about her new body and went bsck to sleep
