NEW IN 2.4- Trotting animations (trot cycles)
- Running animations (run cycles) -- only for Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash
- Three quarters (3Q) walking and trotting animations
- Improved walk cycles and all animation cycles, organized into folders and layers for animating, and reduced symbols
- Basic puppet rigs for the mane6 and other ponies
- Blinking animations
- Lots of new background vectors and props from the show, including Crystal Empire
- Expanded set of mouth shapes for lip syncing
This is just an interactive demonstration using the animations in the flash resource kit, which can be downloaded below for the animation program Flash.

This is intended to help people build their own animations. Either as a reference, or using the assets, it should be helpful to see how animations in the show were made. For example, you can break down Rainbow Dash running frame by frame, and see how she was animated. Use the animation clip, copy it, or just reference it for your art or animation. - and you don't even have to credit me if you don't want to!
The Double Rainboom team created excellent animation puppets, which were taken down.

Seems interesting but I can't find anyone explaining what a puppet is and how it works. If someone could explain me it could be cool, because I can't animate because of that.

Thanks, but I'm having troubles understanding this ;-; I'm not a native english speaker and I still have troubles understanding english when I listen to it. Does the person explain how puppets work?

Oh, I apologize. The tutorials explain how to use puppets in Adobe Animate CC. Basically what you do is open the puppet file in Animate CC, double-click on the part of the puppet you want to move, and then in the "properties" panel in the right of the window, change the frame number under "looping". You can also skew and rotate puppet parts to move them around. One you have moved the puppet to your liking, press "F6" to add a keyframe, and to move between frames use the keys "," and ".". If you look at this part of the tutorial, you may be able to understand visually and just do a rough copy of what the person does: youtu.be/_SGoNrLHQfc?t=1988 . I hope this helps.

I think these puppets work differently from most ones. I can't select anything either, but now I realize the title says "resource kit", and the description says that it's not a puppet resource kit, but an animation kit. In other words, this seems to be a collection of other people's animations, not puppets. If you want to do true animation, you should try one of TiredBrony's puppets or something else.

Oh, I see. Flash 8 is an old program; I'm not sure what it's compatible with or if it works the same as cs6, which I use. I wouldn't be able to tell you if the Flash 8 version listed here works unless I try importing it into cs6. I suppose I could give it a shot.
