Hello everyone! DruidPeter here, once again and more.

So... where do I even begin with this artwork? xD This was my second entry out of a set of 3 entries, my 4th attempt at entering the Illustrators of the Future contest. I think it's safe to say, I did not win, haha... but at least I got improvement out of my artwork from it. xD By the way, this strapping lad right here isn't... actually me. You see, for those who are just joining us, the Character in the the image with the mask is actually two individuals.

1. It is of course my own online Persona, DruidPeter. But also...

2. It's one of my OCs, a character by the name of Deaf Mute, who... is one of many of my OCs that shows up within my epic Fantasy/Scifi Novel (well, if I can ever write all of it out. ), Kolodruidtale .

As a matter of fact, this illustration right here is actually how he is introduced within the scope of the story. Don't let the Deaf Mute moniker fool you, DeafMute is very much able to hear and speak. It's... actually kind of a joke in this scene. The thug/petty criminal in the alleyway looks up at him and says,

"Who the fuck are you supposed to be?" -- Petty Crook,

To Which Deaf Mute responds:

"Who, Me? I'm Deaf Mute." -- Deaf Mute

And for the punchline:

"No shit? You don't sound deaf Mute." -- Petty Crook,

"Heh. Yeah... I'm probably going to get that a lot." -- Deaf Mute.

And I'll have you know... he does indeed... get that a lot.

Anyone more familiar with my older artwork should be able to tell that I'm now moving on with getting better with my digital technique. In fact, I kind of have to get this and the last submission/entry to the contest up so that I can start submitting even higher quality work, haha. If I don't, then the contest submissions, impressive though they are, risk being overshadowed by more recent artwork.

Which... is a fairly good problem to have, I suppose.
