I showed this 2-page spread to my sister, lamenting how sad it was that Howard was dead. She hadn't read the comic up to this point, however, and so asked, "Wait... it Howard the one in the panel here?"

To which I responded, "No, no... Howard is the one that's on the guy in the panel."

At that point, she became very silent, and her eyes opened up wide. She then simply said, "Oh."

Well, you can't ask for better feedback than that, I suppose. There's nothing left to do now, except continue the story, and get better, and better, and better.

... and better.
