Wow, so you've worked for Dark Horse since some time after? That's awesome! Can I ask, was it that you were hired to draw for a book, with a page rate? Or was it that you pitched one of your own ideas? Sorry to ask so many questions, I'm preparing a portfolio for them soon and I was curious.

Yes, I did a few projects for them. They hired me, based on a portfolio interview, my agent had with them. So it wasn't creator owned.

Its so nice to look well draw backgrounds. Do you use references a lot?

I usually do, But it depends. The building was referenced here, but the interior was made using elements from different pictures.
