stunningly beatiful
although I have a great fear of spiders, I can't seem to think of them as "ugly". They are truly beatiful creatures, only some have a really bad poison

Thanks for adding 'Grey' to your favourites. I think this is a very elegant spider. My wife doesn't agree. She doesn't like the idea of being classed in the same category as a spider. I think some spiders are beautiful but there are some truly ugly ones too.

True enough, but macro does make it look bigger than it really is.

of course, but I googled the beast just to see how big he actually is, because the macro looked incredibly sharp! funny how they look all furry up-close I love the details on the head!

Your English is fine, my Italian is almost non-existant.

Thanks. You have some awesome spiders on Christmas Island. I would like to see top views of the big one - Spider 1, 2 & 3. Do you know what kind of spider it is?

woaohhh so adorable Is this your pet? I would have the urge to cuddle (him/her?) a little too hard, I'm afraid.

I don't really think you would like to cuddle her. She has a nasty bite - necrotising.
No, it is not my pet, I released her back into the wild.
They do look rather soft and cuddly, I must admit.

eeeuggh... I'll definitely keep that in mind if I ever spot one. I hope you don't catch them with your bare hands!

The female body length is 25mm, male about 15mm. Including legs, about 60mm diameter.
