Description
The background of this piece was done in the same day that "Nothing Left but Dust" [link] , so it is why colors are the same on both. About this creation, I am pleased about how nothing on it was not anticipated and it ended to be a full concept.All of it is spontaneous creation and I only had to link elements with each others.It was also fun to do a realistic element in all this surreal scene : I wanted some contrast and I hope it works.It been a long time until I painted a bird and I am glad to see that I did not lost this capacity. This bird exist and it is seriously beautiful, it is a painted bunting. [link] Please comment and tell me what you think about all this

This drawing is amazing! as usual, I love the details and the mix between color and ink.
The bird look very good , it gives me the impretion that it will fly out of my desktop .
the simbolistic of this drawing it's very complex ...for me the bird is the release from the sick world that we live in and all the bad things around us.
I think you are a real artist because in your work I can read your feelings and what you whant to express.

Parfait pour l'oiseau, je crois qu'il n'aurait pas pu être plus réaliste que là, et j'adore comment tu as fait l'homme avec son chapeau. À cause des gros traits dans les doigts, on dirait que l'homme aurait pu être taillé dans du bois ou avoir 80 ans. Beau travail comme à l'habitude!

Ses cheveux blond et long, la forme t ls quelques trait de son visage svelte et féminin ainsi que ses lèvres d'un rouge éclatant.

Oufff, j'pourrais regarder ton oeuvre pendant des heures et des heures sans voir tous les éléments! S'en est hallucinant et je comprends pas tout encore, donc, si jamais je parle de certains éléments et que tu ne comprends pas, fait moi signe! Haha. Comme dans ton autre projet «Nothing left but dust», j'adore le fond. Je trouve même que celui-ci est mieux réalisé, les couleurs se fondent bien entre elles et ne font pas de mélanges étranges. Je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais mon attention tombe sur chaque coins. Le coin gauche du haut, il est sombre, les couleurs sont déssaturées, et t'as utilisé le sel comme effet. Le coin droit du haut puisqu'on dirait de la barbe à papa. Et surtout le coin gauche du bas, avec ton magnifique oiseau et les splash sur le fond rouge qui me rappelle du sang. Est-ce que ton oiseau saigne? Haha. Mais sérieusement, ton oiseau est mon coup de coeur, il est mis à part par le fait qu'il soit mimétique. J'aime ses couleur, sa forme et le reflet dans son oeil. Le contact entre ton personnage et ton oiseau est «cute». Il a d'l'air à vouloir l'approcher avec une certaine délicatesse, mais on dirait en même temps qu'il est craintif à cause de son expression. Est-ce que c'est normal que tes traits à l'ancre luisent comme ça? Je trouve ça étrange. Bref, même si j'comprend pas tout, j'aime vraiment ça et je le met directement dans mes favs

J'ai oublié un petit détail: c'est la longue oreille du personnage. Ces oreilles, telles que celles du roi Midas (le roi grec transformant tout ce qu'il touchait en or), signifient la sottise humaine face à des désires dépravés.

En fait, ces éléments sont à considérer comme étant des symboles, chacun ayant sa signification , tout en étant très libres d'interprétation , pour représenter la naissance d'idée dépravée et de machiavélication pour les faire subir à un sujet innocent. Comme tu l'as dit, j'ai ici représentée la beauté contrastante avec la laideur environnante, signifiant l’innocence (l'oiseau), faible devant le serpent (symbole de vie élémentaire mais aussi de la corruption dans l'imagerie populaire, ainsi que l'infinité et la continuité), c'est-à-dire la vile idée.C'est donc plus une certain expression de domination (la calotte rouge de général et les lèvre rouge sont pour les fortes émotions mais aussi la domination) qui est représenté ici, l'oiseau soumis au principe vile ,mais puissant (d'où l'élément du soleil qui signifie la connaissance, mais aussi la vie (d'une façon divine) et le pouvoir). La main ,dernier symbole de cet arrangement, a plusieurs signification, mais dans cette position, c'est encore la domination, l'intimidation et la puissance.J'espère que tout ça va t'aider à décrypter davantage ma représentation artistique
En tout cas, si l'encre luit par endroit, c'est à cause du flash de la photo. En fait, les lignes sont d'un noir uniforme.

Yes, King Midas have long hears to symbolize his foolishness from his depraved desires. King Midas is the king that could transform all what he touched in gold because a benefaction from Deonysos, a Greek god.
But yes, symbols that I used can have many meanings, so it is very open to interpretation.

yes. as i remembered, got a donkey ears after he insulting Apollo, God Of Music. He wearing a wig to cover his ear but the stories spread.
