But seriously amazing detail here, just incredible!!
And...is that Drasa and Kaylan, the maidens of all things sweetness and love, in the scene as well?

But of course, I thought the whole court should be together for at least one photo op.

And what a lovely, honourable, malevolent assembly they make!

It took about five hours I think. But that wasn't really the kick in the teeth , I originally was only going to do one thing here in this render , but then it turned into two , and then I decided hey why not do the whole group! I think I spent more time on poses and positioning than I did actually letting it render.

Thank you. It tends to happen a lot to me, I start off with a small thing and it becomes something bigger by the time I get it like I like it.

lol Sometimes, other times it might be considered the work of a cluttered mind.
Either way, I am very glad you like it!

Oh man I know that feeling all too well! XD
It usually starts with "Hey I need a quick reference" or "Hm, I got a little time to kill before my tv show starts", and then ends with "Holy crap! What time is it?...and Aw! my back/arms/fingers are killing me!!"
This really looks pretty cool and neat. ^^ And it's somehow funny how seeminly all females are barefeet and the males not. XD
Just out of curiosity: What programm did you use?

I use Daz and Render in IRay and do things like lighten it up or add a few photo filters using photoshop.
To tell you the truth, the original .png for this is 35.9 mb by itself, so I shrunk it down and changed it to
jpeg, to save some space.

If only I knew how to get my playing around with Daz to look half as good! XP ...And puting some money aside to buy a few props would help too.
Not very hard to imagine. It's like when drawing on the pc, the more space you give yourself to work on things the bigger the chance you'll be able to have a quality image.
Eitherway it just looks really amazing. ^^

Well I do thank you, I am still kind of a student of Daz and IRay really, but I watch some of their
tutorials from time to time, take advice from other artist, such as SnowSultan, he is quite thorough.
And whatever expertise I kinda have I am willing to share with anyone who asks me. Daz can be a
bit of a money pit though lol.
I am very much you snowy landscape photos. My old Colonel used to tell me about his time in Luxembourger
and how lovely it was. I from the south eastern parts of the U.S. so snow used to be a rare occurrence, so I
somewhat romanticize it lol.

Well, my old laptop never was strong enough to do much with Daz and when I git my current one I was knee deep in art school homework and re-reading theoretical lessons almost the entire time. Even this year was pretty filled with school related projects and what not. So I had to decide between learning Daz or some down time... I'm sure you can guess which route I went. X)
Yeah, that year's snow fall was pretty surprising. There had been either none or a rain-snow mix during winter for many years before. I haf forgotten how annoying and tricky snow can be back then! Seriously walking down the slope to my High School was an ordeal. Worse the janitor seemed to no longer remember how to rev up the heating system, so we pretty much froze our asses in class and had a massive case of flu, etc.
But man my dog went crazy! The little guy had never seen proper snow prior and he just kept running around it. But since he's so small it was more like swimming tham anything else. Little bugger refused to come back inside for some time too. XP
Snow is always great when you're sitting inside all warm and cozy or when you're properly geared up and can avoid frozen patches and all that.
Luxembourg has a few interesting and nice places to visit like old castles, the MUDAM art museum and so on. But since I grew up here it's kind of lost the shine. ^^
I was a few years ago in New York on vaccation. It was pretty much a whole different world. I had been to Paris already and to othet places, in Portugal, to Florence in Italy... But goodness I still can't forget how gigantic yhe city felt! And seeing all the small differences in every day life. And also the sheer number of people...
It's not representative of the USA, but it still was a pretty cool experience and man I do hope to one day be able to visit somewhere else on American soil.

My laptop is kind of a beast so I got daz covered, but I got this rig
for my engineering classes, so I started off needing to run autocad
for some stuff. Boring stuff, but then I got daz and during winter
break I started playing around with it. but I completely understand
taking some time off.
Lucky for us in the southeast, when it gets cold and the heating system
went out in school, they cancelled classes. In college, well that is a
different story, depending on which building it happened to lol.
However since this is the U.S. if their is ice on the sidewalks, the
school tries to avoid lawsuits.
Some of my family is from NYC, so when I went to visit, I know
exactly what you mean about the whole other world. The place
I live only has about 250, 000 people, when compared to New
York, it is a drop in a bucket. Some times I felt like it wasn't
real. I guess it is a matter of where you come from in order. The
folks there seemed like this was an every day thing and it was
easy to tell who was from around there who who wasn't. Us
tourist gawked at things, and didn't quite pick up on the rhythm
that every one else was moving too. Hurry, hurry, hurry.
