Description
“The United States does still exist. God bless us, every one. We’ve just had to adapt in order to survive after the war.”
Here it is, my first attempt on an actual painting without any lineart. While my hand was knocked out I (binge) watched some tutorials about getting started with greyscale painting, so I wanted to try it out - with my first very own brush I have created just for that. And what would be a better for practice than the wonderful Enclave X-01 armor?

The old Advanced Power Armor is far more intimidating than the MK2 one in 3. Bethesda should've just kept the Enclave to be a secondary antagonist in 4.

I agree, it's a sight that burns into your mind right during the opening of Fallout 2 - I guess the design change came from Autumn who wanted a more flexible and versatile kind of Power Armor as indicated in F3 and Lonesome Road.
I secretly hope that Autumn and some of his men survived the events of F3 and that he is trying to seek out the Enclave groups scattered around the Wasteland (Chicago, Greenbrier, ect) and that one day, they will make a great return. At least F4 did a good job making the BoS even more unlikeable (at least to me, but hey...Maxson's coat looks really nice on my Sole Survivor).

At around Fallout 4's time. Most of the Enclave are either scattered around the waste's, dead, captured, or imprisoned by either the NCR or Brotherhood. Chicago sounds like it has somewhat of an Enclave presence, but in ED-E's audio files the creator said it was an outpost. Not a large scale base, although there could be more. Or a more probable scenario is that the Midwestern chapter wiped out the Enclave's presence in the midwest long before 3, New Vegas. Then again I doubt that seeing how Caesar's Praetorians wear T51b Power Armor helmets around like trophies.

Yeah, there isn't much left of them and many who survived seem to have integrated themselves into the Wasteland (like in Far Harbour and NV). I just like to spin some "What if" tales, seeing where stories and things could have gone. I am pretty sure they are wiped out at the West Coast just like the Brotherhood is highly struggling and dying out. At least one of F2's endings integrates a lot of Enclave people into the NCR, interesting to see how that would have turned out if that was the canon ending - especially since the NCR has such a strong presence canonly. Also curious to see how far the Enclave is scattered and what happened to those cells after losing contact to the Oil Rig.
Thank you for the watch, btw.

Same here, they look so wonderfully menacing. And thanks for the nice words! It's awesome to hear this on a first try on something new.
