this is my precious Mooneyes, who willingly let me take this photo. every time i look at this photo, i feel two things that fight for dominance- one is the emotion i feel that makes me want to scoop him up and hug him close to me, to shield him from everything. the other is the thought that he doesnt need my protection; the feeling that makes me recognize the steel beneath that alabaster flesh.
