So the idea behind Shilo (Her human name in this verse) being akumatized is that she's actually a distraction for Felicebug. Differences noted from the Miraculous Ladybug style of superhero and powers to Felicebug is that any alterations such as blindness, hearing loss, limb loss, or damage is permanent after the akuma has left the body. Raises the stakes but those who are akumatized and make a deal with Mourning Cloak or whoever holds that power, can boost the Miraculous wielder's power to where they make stronger and more resistant akumas to purification. Shilo having remembered being far more powerful, when she was just a servant to Liam's power when he was akumatized, provokes Mourning Cloak to akumatize her to regain that power but she has no interest in healing/bringing people back to original state of health i.e. waking someone from a coma. In order to gain Mourning Cloak's attention and power, she offers up her right eye for him to create an akuma who can do that but she wants to ravage the city and offers to provide enough distraction to Felicebug to allow for Mourning Cloak to make the proper akuma to wake his lover.

Her eye will be blinded when she is purified but she made modifications to her original design to be far less limiting on her powers. Liam gave her the physical attack with minimal ranged attack with using twin blades but Shilo didn't want to be limited by knives when she could use those fireballs that gave that pesky Felicebug so much more trouble than last time. She ditched the excessive clothing i.e. the boots and pants held together by the coin belts to just allow her feet to be modified to be grip the ground better and have the force to push her into a sprint attack to deal far more damage than she did last time. The three golden tails while matching Shilo's NB verse self acts as balance and rudders for her sprint attacks and leaping attacks. Finally the arm markings from her NB's old design are now where the fire power is stored and can create a flame barrier to protect herself from having her akumatized item taken from her. Her fire powers are cranked up from a 3 in her previous Empress form to an 8 in this form which is why the city burns in the background as she has been pursuing Felicebug to keep her end of the deal.

Final modification that Shilo made when she's akumatized is that she kept the huge gold necklace which increased in weight to become a weapon fusion of a bola, flail and a kusarigama. She thought if she was going to be dressed like she was as the empress, why not use the decorations that Liam had adorned her with as practical weapons and once the necklace is taken off, her speed increases so she could use her flame shields mid rush attack to do even further damage. Everything about Shilo's form is to do as much damage as possible which she does. This particular fight if put into a timeline would be the second to last fight before Kenzo joins Felicebug and convinces her that she needs a partner to assist her.

As for my thoughts on the piece, I think the fire came out good and the shadows which I've had trouble for a long time improved after watching some Art Tiktoks and finding this shadow study using points to figure out how to draw an appropriate direction from a light source based on height, the object height, length, etc. to give it the depth it needs. This also helped on figuring out where the light would land on the character from the first and second light sources. The colors came together really well. Almost makes people doubt if I'm actually colorblind when it comes out like this doesn't it? XD
