This is superb!
Wow!
I especially love that guy on the left, who looks relatively normal...you know, expect for the dead, decaying flesh and the lifeless, pale eyes...
May I ask what lighting you used and how long it rendered for? Going by the amount of people, (sorry, I mean bodies ), it must have taken a while!
The texture of the skin and eyes are brilliant! It makes me wonder how much you edited them, if it all, on Serif Photo plus... I would love to see the before and after of this!
Amazing work!

Hi. Thank you so much for your comment. I originally wanted to use the uberenvironment lights that come with Daz but it was taking forever to render (mostly due to the hair) so I changed to LightDomePro (I got it cheep in a sale). I used the cloudy setting. It actually didn't take too long to render (about 40 minutes).
There wasn't much postwork really. Mostly adding a haze to the background. I didn't have to postwork the zombies much at all. I made all the textures beforehand in Serif (very similar to Photoshop). I used existing character textures and desaturated them a bit and then used bits of concrete, earth, plants etc with various blending modes (soft light, overlay, multiply) and opacity. They gave some nice decaying effects. I used a soft eraser to blend them in. I intend to make some more and release them as freebies at some point.

Yes, I have UberEnvironment and it does take quite a while, I'm trying to find another way to render my images, keeping them looking the way they do with UberEnvironment while decreasing the render time. I might try out LightDomePro, if I can get it that is
You are very talented, the textures are fantastic! I enjoy creating zombie effects using photos of mould and rust etc myself!
Thank you for such a grand reply and keep up the brilliant work!

I just noticed the 'Light Dome Pro' in your list.
I think I've heard of it...does realistic outdoor lights?
I need to get myself that, I think

I don't have the channel that's currently showing season 2 in England so I guess I'll have to wait for the DVD. Bah!
