Very nice. Are these commission pieces? They look like something you would put in a aviation museum.

Nice attention to detail and beautifully done.

Did you ever hear the joke about the old WWII American pilot that was asked to talk to grade school kids about the war? (When I tell this joke keep in mind it is meant to be said and not written out).

The old man was talking to the kids and said "was flying along in my plane and then suddenly I saw a bunch of German Fokkers flying directly toward me."

At that point all the kids started giggling because they thought the old man used the f-word. The teacher interrupts and says "Children a Fokker is a german aircraft."

The old man looked at her confused and said, "That's true, but these fokkers were flying Messerschmitts."

I know it doesn't do well as a written joke.

Lol. Nice joke. These were not commissions. I painted them to go in my local art shop with the intention of doing a whole series but the reaction was luke warm (to say the least) so I gave up the idea.
