Description
In an alternative timeline, humans went extinct. The only proof they ever existed was small fragments that came to be known as a "human essence", a lingering will capable to create energy in form of "Determination". With this power, monsters came to harness these fragments and use them as an energy source. But as a young assistant to the Royal Scientist W. D Gaster, came across a fragment quite unusual for its nature... he soon became to find it had a will that rivaled that of a shell filled with energy. Almost like it was still alive...Thus an odd friendship began to form.

I really really like the idea, it kind of reminds me of that Pokemon movie Destiny of Deoxys and when that one
