Mechanical whirrs mixed with the crowd's busy mumbles echoed throughout the streets. The sun had just peaked up over the tall buildings of the active city as Nadine took every opportunity to curiously look around.
"See something ya find interesting there missy?"
Tearing her sight away from the buildings, Nadine straigtened her pose and quickly nodded her head in confimarion. A pair of old wrinkly eyes shining in amusement at her curious behaviour.
"It's just that I've never seen such a big city, Master."
The old lizard chuckled. "One would think this should've usually played out the other way around. With me being the old fart and the youngster showing me around the big city."
"I hardly believe you're that old of a fart, Master."
"You'd be surprised how many times I've been called that. Though it does sound like this trip is doing you good for your nerves, Nadine."
Nadine gave a sheepish smile while her shoulder relaxed. The city was so different from the temple grounds and the training fields. The amount of people walking around, the happy and the less enthusiastic ones still moved in such patterns that facinated the daffodil seedrian greatly.
"Just keep in mind Nadine that things may not be as peaceful as you see it now." Her master's smile became a bit more strained as he scouted over the masses down the street. "Don't forget to keep your guard up."
"Of course not, Master."

For round 6 at SeedrianStarPageant

Sheesh, I'm getting way too close to the deadlines.
But pfffffff. Had so much fun drawing~ Oh and designing Nadine's Master was such a hassle since I've always had problems with what he's supposed to be based on. But finally I settled on a frilled lizard. So yea, Nadine's on her adventure with her Master (More like teacher but she's very stubborn to adress him as "master") in one of the big cities of their home world.
There's a certain cameo there harrharr.
