Ah I too experience mirror-phobia. It has a lot to do with triggering my dissociation symptoms, but I also imagine that Otto probably feels like he sees his father in him :c

I am thinking that even though he says he doesn't remember what his father looked like, he must look a lot like him, with that mirror-discomfort.

You know what? Giving us this throwback to the first chapter I realized that this comic already reached chapter 7 and that you're working on it for longer than a year already!
As a reader of a time when you worked on "May the rain come" I still see Jupiter as your 'new comic' and now I'm realizing how fast time has passed! And how proud you should be of the fact that you actually manage to continue working on your stories, that you -finish- them. I have so many ideas in mind, but I wouldn't know how to organize myself and keep my interest up in a project like this one. I admire this skill and patience of yours so much!Β
Do you have any advice? How can you keep this going? And what inspires you the most?
Thank you so much for sharing your stories with us. I'm looking forward to finding out more about these characters. So far it feels like we barely got over the prologue, even after soon 7 entire chapter!

Here's my advice for making you comics/stories:
01.) START. You don't have to do much pre-planning. Just go for it.
02.) Update! Pick the number of times you want to update a week and do it. (Hopefully more than one page a week. 52 pages a year is no bueno)
03.) Keep updating! One of the things that keeps me going are my readers. If you don't update, they'll get bored and loose track of your story. If you update, they'll be engaged and make you want to keep updating. ^-^
04.) Finish! No matter how much effort it takes, you have to finish. If you never finish a project then you'll never be good at presenting an entire story. If all you ever write are beginnings, you'll only ever be good at beginnings. :0
And that's about it! If you want to finish a project you have to want it. You can do anything!
