Aw man, this is a really great portrayal of an incredibly difficult moment. And poor Jupiter, it's always easier to see what you should have done in retrospect :/

Jupiter has such a big heart. I understand that he wishes, now, that he had acted, but what else could he have done?
Excellent job on her expression in the last panel, too. And her husband's looming behind her, hands controlling on her shoulders, so close to her neck. Poor Cat.... Great placing, too, with this moment vs. the sweetness we saw between Jupes and Saturn at the beginning of this chapter. OUCH, but well done.

There are painful times in a story when a protagonist is making a terrible mistake and I just groan with the impending cost.This is a really painful well-told part of the story, especially the focus on the mother's face as Jupes narrates. Ugh! Well done.
