The little scrawl at the top is from the beginning of the first Metroid Game.

A collaboration I held over at

I had the members sign up for a Metroid game and they represented it in a square format. Then I put it together as a mural and here we are.
The artists really did an awesome job!
I'm very grateful for the amount of work you guys did. It looks marvelous!

Here's to 20+ years of Metroid games!
We decided to include the Smash Bros. series just so we could include more squares for a bigger mural.

The Luminoth are some of my most favorite Metroid dudes, too. Even more than the Chozo. :0
If U-MOS somehow got into Smash Brothers I might just die from happiness.

Same here! The Chozo are awesome, but there's just something about those Luminoth that I love much more.

Me too! Thanks to hacking, we already have a lot of characters in SSB Brawl that aren't supposed to be (like Yoda and Batman), but to add a character someone needs to create a model, or get one from another game first. I'm hoping someone makes U-Mos soon... heehee! Shouldn't be too hard, since you could just take the model right out of Echoes.
