Description
At least you're still in one piece! Look what happened to me!
I was just a head once.
Entering both the and contests at once! Heehee.
The challenge at the Star Wars club was to drawing some sort of tech, so I chose the droids themselves, and the challenge at the Star Trek club was to include all seven colors of the rainbow in your picture.
And I threw in Spot and R2 for good measure.
Isn't being a geek glorious?

Two 'souls' find they may have more in common than some individuals think

The idea of them interacting would be something I wish fanfics were able to properly make, although fanfic does show R2D2 being a bit of a show-off and actually outdoing Data (mental image is funny XD)

This reminds me of when we tested a space-folding mechanism, and ended up in a galaxy far, far away....
"Sir, they're shooting laser beams at us.Β That won't even make it past our navigational deflectors!"
"Hmmm.Β They're at least 200 years behind Federation technology.Β The Prime Directive applies, ladies and gentlemen.Β Be most careful!"
Ways we violated the Prime Directive:
1) Beamed out: "Don't shoot us, Mr. Vader!Β We surrender!Β (energize!)
Β Β "Lord Vader, they disintegrated themselves rather than be captured!"
Β Β "Commendable, but I still want that ship!"
2) Ricky (our Chief Engineer) traded a crashed shuttlecraft for a hover-bike--WITH ITS MEMORY CORE INTACT!!!!Β Β We made it back to Earth safely...and Admiral Uhura was mad enough to chew tritanium.
"Captain Sanchez...you and your crew are going back.Β You are to get that shuttlecraft back, or destroy it...especially the computer core.Β Do NOT return without accomplishing your mission.Β Am I clear?"
"Perfectly, ma'am!"
Needless to say, Lt. Ricky Drake went to the very BOTTOM of the promotion list!!! Β

Thanks!
I never thought I'd get featured on this site ever again. Not as good as a DD, but I'll take it.

Β Great pic! Put a Dalek or a Cyberman in there, you would have the ultimate robot/droid geekfest of all time!
P.S its nice to see Stars Wars and Star Trek characters crossed over - most of the time on the internet, the two fandoms just seem to argue with each other for some reason.

But if you invite a Dalek, you'll have to add a T-800 to go with it!
I'm one of those lucky people who's actually watched both and loved both.

Aww, cute. XD Not familiar with the Star Trek character, but it's nice seeing Threepio and Artoo. %D

LOL that's great.Β I wonder if Data would get tired of 3PO's babbling however?

Since this is pre-emotion-chip Data, then he won't have the ability to get annoyed.

Heehee, I like that you remembered 3PO's right leg is the silver one. The eye-ball monster and the tribbles are great touches too!

I think even pre-emotionchip Data would tell Threepio to just shut up already.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds Threepio annoying.

I love him in the original trilogy.
The prequels... no. The best they could come up for with him were puns. Ugh!

JZLobo In reply to DrZime [2014-10-05 16:54:21 +0000 UTC]
Having him and R2 in the prequels was just groan-worthy. Cosmic coincidences like that just make the universe feel so tiny. Like, in a galaxy containing trillions of life forms, why is it only the same half-dozen or so (and their children) who shape its destiny?

Why not? It's Lucas's universe, after all, and he has to make them fit somehow. And he did just that with billions of dollars gross as his reward.
